Private Sector Entry-Level Economists
Job Description
ICF International is looking for versatile, detail-oriented professional Economists with strong quantitative and writing skills to join us in expanding our business and working with current and future clients. Positions are located in Southern California.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze economic impact analyses to assess their strengths and weaknesses
- Analyze business plans to assess their strengths and weaknesses
- Compose frequent and detailed reports based on analyses
- Conduct research related to unemployment, housing, demographics, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Economics or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- US Citizenship
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Familiarity with economic impact models (such as IMPLAN, REMI, or RIMS II) or other quantitative economic models
- Familiarity with business plans or corporate financial documents
- Government consulting experience
Professional Skills:
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-experts
- Ability to learn new analytical methodologies quickly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
